We are the coordinators of the H2020-MSCA-RISE project SmartHELMET (Intersectoral network for innovation on smart thermal solutions for bicycle helmets). The project aims at the development of the next generation of bicycle helmets with smart thermal management. SIMTECH Lab researchers use approaches based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to investigate how to influence the helmets cooling/ventilation capacity.
